Romber Works / HBO MAX
Over the second half of 2024, A Doll’s House Pictures has been following the progress of Ross’s work on a new project outside Germantown, New York. This was a great opportunity for us to capture the behind-the-scenes process of installing custom cabinetry with the project’s use of various custom materials and techniques throughout the home.
The footage will be put to use in a featurette on Romber Works coming in early summer.
To see more about this home renovation project you can watch In With The Old, S7, E4 (Hamlet on the Hudson), a HBO Max/Magnolia Network documentary on the project.
Romber Works
We are woodworking artisans specializing in finely crafted cabinetry for the Hudson Valley region.
Ross Brown, Craftsman & Owner of Romber Works
In the late 1980’s Ross Brown began woodworking for beautiful estates across the Hudson Valley. This exposed Ross to the art of combining old world craftsmanship with new world design. Ross experienced firsthand how old and new can be melded together to create an entirely new experience.
Ross on Custom Cabinetry
True custom cabinetry is built around your needs and desires. Together, we problem solve the space and discover new solutions while developing the style you want. This customization is the foundation of Romber Works. I am personally involved in every step of the process from introduction, design, fabrication, finishes and finally, the installation. I take great pride in providing a great experience through clear communication with every client from our first conversation, to price quotes, all the way through the final installation. It is my pleasure to make my client’s dreams into reality.
